the higher compression pistons come with deeper cut valve pockets than the stock piston with the intent of accomodating higher lift cams. if the cam you pick says it will clear the stock piston, it will clear the high comp one by even more ...........mixxer

I have a 13:1 JE piston and a 02 CRF cam. Not overly impressed with the results.

Do you have it piped and if it is, maybe you need to port the head!! Hotcam told me I can get another 5% out of my engine if I port my head!! B)
