Hello Everyone,

Money is super tight right now and my 450er is in need of an oil change. Typically I run the Honda GN4 Red Cap (Ithink) in my engine and tranny but Money is tight and I have an abundance of the Yamalube I put in my Raptor 700 available and some Kawi stuff that is similar to the yamalube I also run in my Raptor 700. Is this oil compatible with my 450er. Thanks.

Oil is oil, it will work fine as long as it has no additives to make it not work with the clutch but it should be fine since you have been using it in the 700.

yup yamalube works too, although i personally don't like yamalube.

long as the weights are appropriate for the machine and the oil is designed for 4 stroke wet clutch applications you're good.

I believe it is a 10w 40

Hey guys,

Please let me know which one of these oil if any I can run threw my 450er. I typically change my oil so often it prob wouldnt really matter if I ran a certain brand threw it but lately money has been tight so if I can get by using one of these that would be great. I may have yamalube 10w 40 also or I have easy access to it.
One is for trans only I know that.

does not specify wet clutch

So I have been doing some research and it looks to me like the best stuff to run that I allready have is the Spectro 4 10w 40
