I don't know what mods you have but the HRC needle with a K180 main and the lid off works the best. If I have to convert to DJ while testing from K jets I see 10 jet #'s works the best. K180= DJ190. Some charts will show 13 #'s difference.
Example, I had a raptor with 39 FCR's and he was running K175 mains in both carbs. He was really lean. I was out of bigger K's at the time and I sized up Dynojets to go with it. I went with 195 Dynojets and the jet adapters in so I could get him dialed in and that is what it took to get the main down to spec. If he wanted to switch back to K jets he would need to run K185 and that Matched the Dynojet 195 mains I put in.
Some people have a hard time trying to get a Dynojet jet to work with a different needle then a dynojet needle. Keep things the same and you will be fine.
*Remember if you use Dynojets in replace of K jets, you need to use an adapter( it's an extender that usually comes in the kit). That makes the dynojet the same length as the Long Hex K's that come in these carbs. By not using that you will have trouble dialing in*
Tell me the mods you run and the elevation your at and i can help you get set up which ever way you decide to go.
