Just do like i did and take the lid, cut the rear part of it and put an outerwears airbox cover on it. Lets in a TON of air and i've never seen more than a few drops of water in the airbox. Keep your outerwears on the filter too and you're almost guaranteed to have pure air going to your engine. You can contact paul@woodwardspecialties to order it.
i have outerwears lid on mine with the k&n pre filter thing and the filter is almost always clean. the airbox will be dirty and the outerwears get dirty after riding, but the k&n rarely has dirt on it.
150 bucks...You probably talk about the version which include intake...this one doesn't worth...take the normal one for 99 and use your stock intake which a very good one.
does anyone make a outerwear kind of cover to go over the stock airbox? not the K&N lid... i have a houser airbox riser and cant run my HRC lid on my 04 and want somwthing to cover the box or atleast the front where the filter is like the HRC lid did
