450r Carb.. Acellorator pump?

hey, i'm in the process of building a 400ex and was wondering on carborator. it will stay stock bore and stroke along with stock compresson. for now. i'm wondering if i should do a scary fast or powernow carb mod or go up to a stock 450r carb? that and i was wondering if the stock 450r carb had an acellorator pump?

the stock 450r carb does have an accelerator pump and would be a much better addition than a powernow type carb mod. in fact, the 450r carb on a 400ex is somewhat common nowadays, it works well.

What he said!
If your using an 04-05 carb you'll need to use the 450r cable also. The choke lever will need to be shotened ( just cut 1/2 inch off with a die grinder) to clear the petcock.
