What are you guys out there running for air filters? I ride mostly xc and some dunes riding. I live where creek crossings are common as well as cold winter weather.

I've heard K&N's aren't to be trusted in the sand.??

Should I run a pro design adaptor, or spark's racing adaptor?

Is foam better? Can foam be reused like K&N??

Too many questions. HELP!!

there are already some post on this subject...do some searching...I run a Sparks Racing foam air filter....I have used K&N....but I prefer foam ....I think it filters finer particules of dirt, or dust....yes I would recommend a billet insert of some kind, it keeps the plastic inlet from pinching when you tighten the air filter clamp....yes foam is reusable also......K&N filters work fine in sand, I would recommend a prefilter over the K&N though....

Sparks racing or UNI would be your best bet, in my opionion.
