What pistons are available

I know that JE has a 13.8:1 piston out. What else is there?

I would prefer to stay under 13:1 (maybe 12.5:1?), and try to stay a bit more reliable. Any input to that theory?

Thanks

Sorry, I meant piston, not cam....
450r's bore is 94mm and the compression is 10.5:1

400's bore is 85mm and the compression is 9.3:1 and is air-cooled

they are not even close

Man, I am smoking my socks this morning. Guess I need more coffee...

I meant CRF450 piston.

Maybe I should just delete this post and start over.

if you meant crf cams, they do drop in but from what other people have posted it really isnt worth it. ask lukester he ahs one.
i have the sparks 13.8:1 piston, and it isnt any less reliably. i pay 3.80 for each gallon of gas and the vibration is a little worse but its got tons more power.
The most we can get at the pumps up here is 94 octane. What would you say is the safe limit for compression running this fuel?

if you have the cash get some octone boost
11.75:1
12:1 you want to start running race fuel

At 11.75:1 could I run 93 octane?? That is the highest pump we have around here...just makin sure becasue someone else said they have 94 octane...
can you just add octane boost or do i have to run race gas
also is torco a good gas because i can get it around here
what gas would use for the sparks 13.8:1
We have 94 octane at Sunoco up here in Canada. Pioneer does 93, all the rest are 92 or under for premium. haha, you guys prolly never even heard of Sunoco or Pioneer.

i have here'd of Sunoco but i don't no the other one
do not run octane boost in your quad, ever. i do not have details on why it is not good, but i have read about it many times on exriders.
