I just did a 13.1:1 high comp piston, stage 2 hot cam, empire full exhaust and a uni filter. In my area I can get 92 octane or 110. Should I run 110 or a blend of both? I read somewhere that 100 octane is sufficient but I figured I’d ask for more input.

110 too high compression. dont blend fuel

You don’t mention your Elevation, but I would think 92 would be fine. Unless you are running on some crazy hot days or in the dunes with non-stop full throttle riding. I am running higher compression than you and just use 91. I’ll throw some 110 in here every once in a while, or use it exclusively when in the dunes.

are you saying use 110 cause the compression is too high? Or 110 is too high?
I’m saying don’t mix it use 110. If it’s a dune bike you are beating it pretty bad cause your loading the motor. Me I wouldn’t chance it

Gotcha. I was kind of leaning towards just running the 110 anyhow. I was just looking for any other input. Thanks!
