I need more power. I put the 13t front sprocket on Friday night and went to LS Saturday. I did pretty well the first couple of drag races. I was in front of many of the piped Banshees and behind many of the FAST banshees. This is where it ended though. My TRX simply does not have enough power to get my 250 lb ass out of the hole consistently well. There was a piped YFZ that saw my tail light on one of my early, "lucky" races and then he lined up again and I got him out of the hole, but my front end was still up in 2nd and I was heading towards him so I hide to lift and I could never catch back up. From about my 5th race to my 20th race I did worse and worse trying to find that sweet spot. I got nipped by a kid on a piped Polaris 500! He only weighed about 120 lbs, but an A$$ whoopin is an A$$ whoopin, he got out by about 1.5 on me and I could never close the gap. On a bright note, there was a guy that had a Sparks piped and muffed TRX and his TRX acted totally different than my slow turd. His would RIP out of the hole and then RIP in 2nd and 3rd and 4th. Too bad he drank a cup of coffee between each shift. Ok, I am done with my wine, now its time for me to start ordering parts because I love to sand drag and I hate getting beat.
