after i get my head ported and polished and redone i have been thinking about going with a diffrent cam setup. i currently have a stg 2. i like the power but i have been hearing really good things about the webs. the people that i have spoke to about the webs have told me that i would be going from a drop in cam to a full race cam and that it will be a night and day diffrence in the 2.

i have read things about the valvetrain wear but people has told me as long as you stay atop your maintence that you won't have anything to worry about.

also i'm starting to ride more and more mx and less woods but from time to time i still ride woods. which webs cam do you think would benefit me the most? everyone that i have spoke to recommended the 493 grind. i have been seeing alot of people ride the 208.

also my future mods are as follows: port and polish,14.1 piston,41 or a 43 taper bored carb,fci, 112 octane.

my only experience with webcams are the 943 its a good cam revs great and is probally pretty close to the stage 2 with a hair more top,

it did needed adjusted more then the hotcams and also the people that's porting the head that the webcam was in asked if we bought the head from ebay as a junker cause the seats was messed up and a lot of wear, so im not sure if that played into effect of the webcams being more aggressive

but as long as u keep up on maintainance and such I think you'll be happy with a 208

FOR MX WE USE THE 208 I THINK YOU WILL LIKE IT IT IS SMOOTH POWER GREAT TORQUE,, YES STAY UP ON THE MAINTENCE4 ON THEN... WE HAVE NO PROBLEMS WITH WEB WE WONT RUN ANYTHING ELSE... SHIM IT RIGHT AND VALVES ARE SET RIGHT HEIGHT CLEARENCE PLUS SPRINGS...

Buy my 493+2.5 and see how it does! Its brand new and its probably a really good power producing camshaft. It has 5 more degrees of duration over the standard 493. PM me if your interested.

buy his cam so i can forget about wanting to buy it. LOL

that should be a runner.

wish i was'nt completely broke, i would have it.

no more quad parts for me for a while.

i had a 943/921 and it worked a little better than the stage 2 then i went to a stage 3 but i also have a 208/921 that i am waiting to put in but so far i like the way the stage 3 makes my bike run .
