USPS Packages
Anyone know how these work? I had a box of tires shippd to me from Alabama (I live in LA so its close) last thursday via 2-4 day shipping, I know they were shipped because USPS emailed me saying the item was accepted or whatever last thursday but doesnt say anything else and theres no notes or anything on my door saying they came and no one was home.

Yeah it was a scan from them receiving the item from the person who was sending me the tires. He shipped them out and i even asked him and he said they shouldve already been here and hes going to ask them todayt. But after that theres nothing on tracking info and Id think what 6 days is long enough to get them to me, unless my post office is lazy and doesnt leave notes and expects you to assume there holding your package. I dont think I got a delivery confirmation number, what is that? A estimated time for delivery?

Sounds like a plan, my post office closes at 5:15 So i will call them tomorrow. I asked the seller about them yesterday and he said they shouldve been here already and that he was going to ask them if they knew anything about it today. It seems like shipping always gets messed up when it has to do with my quad. Coincadence? all you have to do is tell the seller you never got them.
its up to the seller to get insurance on package and if something happened to the package they should resend you some merchandise.

so true,USPS is kinda slow give it a few more days , I shipped a steering stem back east and i took a week and a half for it to get there hold tight it will come.[/b]

That is making me very mad. The 2 times i go with USPS there slow as balls. Everytime I use UPS they give me an exact time when its coming at no more than 5 days everytime on ground and its always here when i expect it.

usps is awesome I've had the best luck with them, priority 2-3 days is the only way togo, I've been screwed by fedex and ups..
usps has been my choice for shipping.
everything i ship i do certified with a tracking number. keeps the seller and buyer in sync and establishes good history/feedback. huhh wilson

I know exactly how you felt went through the same deal. I bought shocks off ebay the guy dropped them off on the day after. when I checked the tracking # all it said was accepted. It took two weeks for a change on the tracking #. Of all days it was changed on a sunday which seemed suspicions to the seller and I. THe chang was that it arrived finally at my home Post office. So I went there that morning to make sure. It was there. Had me worried for a bit. lol.
