Hey guys. I'm trying to get a little more power out of my 2004 trx450r. trying to keep the price down but I don't want cheap parts. I was thinking about getting a hotcam stage 2 and a lexx pipe. will that effect it enough to notice a power difference or is there something else I should throw in? thanks.

dont waste your money ont hat pipe, spring for at least a full exhaust from say hmf as a cost effective option

^^ he’s right, i agree ^^ hmf full exhaust is a good & affordable pipe that will gain HP’s, (versus lexx pipe 👎) combined with the stage 2 hot cam you will definitely notice a significant change , more snap on that bbbrrraaaaaapp bbbrraaaappp!! You won’t be disappointed at all. Especially on the wallet.🤙 post some pics of your ride please.

I always recommend a piston first. Especially if it’s an original piston it needs to be replaced as maintenance anyway. Get the worn cast piston out and get a nice high compression forged piston in there. That will noticeably improve your throttle response and efficiency, plus more power.
