Do you only do MX....Im curious, becasue the stage 2 hotcam is for MX racing only....is that all you do....what do you think of the cam?
Did that 39 bring the power band down in the lower RPMs..........???????
IOW..... did it make it quicker not faster but quicker....???
The hotcam is awsome it pulls all the way though, from 1st to 5th. I did order a piston, but now that I have rode it, I'm not going to put it in. This bike is so fast that it almost through me off the bike in third gear!!!!

KillerQuad, Between the carb and the pipe I have so much low end it feels like the 465ex stroker( Not to mention, the 465ex stoker was my bike in the first place)!
It is not only quick but its fast to. It's like a little rocket ( No matter what gear I was in, it would walk away from the 465ex stroker)!!!

TRX450rlude, I ride in the woods mostly. But, I like going to the track to hit the jumps. I left my 13t sprocket because I ride in the woods, but for the low end the carb and the pipe help in that department. This bike will be hard to bet in any gear, I can tell you that much!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D

so the stage2 cam dont make it unridable in the woods?...thats cool...I was thinking about getting the Stage 1 hotcam but I went with the sparks cam instead.....I would love to have your carb
Sounds sick Rico! Try to get some pics up for us in the Readers' Rides section :)
TRX450rlude, just so you and anyone else should know! When and if you buy the 39mm carb, it fits the boot going into the engine!! The only thing I had to do is buy a billet piece that screws on to the back of the carb so it would fit the airbox boot snorkle. Price of Carb & billet piece $600. Believe me it's worth every dime. I'm sorry to say but in my opinion the stock 42 carb is junk. The butterfly restricks where the FCR lets massive amounts of fuel rush in. Carb, cam exhaust and paying someone do to this work. $1575. This turns your 450 into a rocket!!!!! B)
Hey Rico, where did you get the FCR and does it still have the Hot Start? Also, would you recommend it for the average rider that doesn't do any racing except with his buddies?

if you want to whoop thier A**...yeah... otherwise you will just beat them...not kill them
TrX450rKiD, I do not race at all. I'm the kind of guy that likes power. I would rather have it and not used it, but knowing that I can used it anytime I want is nice. TRX450rlude is right! With the carb you will get way more response out of the FCR than you would with the stock carb. To answer you question first yes it has the hotstart(don't buy the carb unless it has one) as far as where it came from I have no idea, the honda shop ordered it for me! and yes if you like power and you have the money, buy the carb. Everytime you race someone you will be glad you spent the money. Trust me, the money I spend was well worth it for the power this bike has now!!!
Thats for the info Rico it sounds badarse.
hey guys what place do u think the HRC Cam stands B) with
1. Sparks Cam
2.hot cam stage 2
3 hot cam stage 1
I think the stage 1 Hotcam is like the HRC kit cam! ^_^
Can somebody find the specs on each of these cams. I think everybody's opinion is gonna be diffrent, ya know seat of the pants feel. so i would like to find some rock solid specs. We cant have company bashing. On the flip side of that, If you come across some parts that are bad and you can get some good to know info out to the public, please do so. I dont want to hear what happened to your brothers, sisters, boyfreinds, mothers, sons, dads quad. No through the grape fine info. Its not good for anybody.

thanks
