what color should the honda red 80 transmission oil look lik when it's dirty? Just want to confirm. Thanks

i have seen it look almost a greyish silver with shiny particles in it.... but it still has that reddish brown hue to it also

Thanks cause mine looks that grey red, looks bad like it was contaminated with dirt. I guess if it was brown like engine oil and became black, it would be more acceptible.

When it turns into a purpleish color, more darker than the clean red, would be the best time to change it. but about the silver color, thats when you REALLY need to change it.
