yup its too carry tools, and tire repar kit etc...

desert racing is long, and u need the tools in there to fix any freak disasters out on the course, so u can get to the next pit///

sweet I figured that because I have seen a few races and stuff on tv and the guys in the trucks will be doing like 90 and all of the suddin the driver and nav. guy start yelling poop poop we blew out a tire. it was funny but it prolly sucked to be them. hey do u use tire balls. I hear that they help u be able to make it to the next pit fine if u get a puncture. I was just wonderin if u did if u would give us a review of them.

nope too expensive, and if they are incorrectly installed, they can vibrate the bike apart...in the high speed BITD races at least...just ask nic granlund....

yeah at high speed, they tend to run bit unbalenced. tire balls are a good idea! just not for high speed. they are best for some thing like x/c or gp's.
just added another peice of the puzzle today!

I read that they have to be placed in the tire so exact to make them work well at speed most people who would best use them can't use them because of like you said they aren't balanced perefect so high speed is very bad.
