I am looking for advice on what I should do first my front or my rear suspension. I have a stock 2006 450r and i am looking to race next seasone. I don't have the money for both, which should I do First.

If I wanted to rebuild the rear, would it be wise to stay with the stock swing arm. I was told when I rebuild the front I should do the arms at the same time so that they work good together. If anyone has any imfo please help.

same with the rear, if your going to get a longer swinger it would be better to get it at the same time as you get it revalved so the shock is setup for the longer swinger
I would do the front end first.. It makes a huge difference whether you go long travel or standard travel. We have a large selection of a-arm- LSR,JB,SMC,Hermann,AtV4play,JDP,etc - Normally on budget builds the rear shock is replaced last, so you could hold off on it until you have the spare money. I'd highly suggest researching Motowoz shocks if your undecided which brand to go with.

If you do std trvl +2 fronts, you can start with just the arms, then you can use your stock shocks for now, then when your ready, you can have your stock shocks resprung/valved, or you can get new frt shocks [whatever suits your budget]. If you have any questions, you can give me a call , and I will be happy to help you out.

When I revalved all my shocks w/rear link (GTT), I thought the rear was more worth it by itself. It stopped the bike from bucking in the whoops.
Thanxs for all the advise from everyone. I will start with the front end first. I think it will make the big difference for my arm pump and feeling worn out at the end of the day.

I was woundering what riders thought about stock rebuilds and how they hold up against some of the after market products? Also will a Mx set up be close to a Xc setup. I want to race mx but most of my practice and staying in shape will be in the woods. I know mx sits a little lower with 18" in the rear, But could I just put a set of 20" on for the woods?
