So sorry if this question is rather dumb but I wanted a clear definition of what the difference between bottom end and top end power is. Does top end power refer to more speed compared to acceleration? My R is still stock(hp wise) and I want a new exhaust soon, Eventually I'd like to get a Dasa once the engine is built more, but since it is still stock I am going to go with HMF and one of there choices is the MX series exhaust(fatter head pipe) that supposedly gives you more top end power. I'm still learning about all the mechanics that goes with quads. How would top end power help MX racing?
THANKS in advance :D

It refers to RPM more than speed. So if you have a lot of power when the bike is revved up at 7500 rpm, you would say you have a lot of top end power. If you don't ride with the bike revved up freequently, then you want something for the bottom end and mid range.
