Stock Bearing carrier failure

I have a 07 450er, the bearing carrier in my swingarm for the axle broke, not sure what happened to it. On the rotor side the carrier broke off into the brake caliper mount and the bearing was completely gone. Just wondering if anyone else has had any of these problems and what type of bearing carrier you have and what you think of it. Also if anyone has a used bearing carrier that you want to get rid of I would be interested in it. Thanks for the look.

wtf why laugh had to give wifey an excuse so i said the axle was bent and i needed a new one in my defence it was bent a little normal wear and tear from launching it so much
Yeah I had a really hard time getting my lock nut off, had to heat it up to get it to turn, pipe wrench on the axle and then the wrench on the nut, what a pain. Thanks for the replies. I was going to take a stock bearing carrier and machine the caliper side out so I could have two bearings on both sides, thought it would have been cheaper but I will just buy a new complete one due to time and wasting it trying to find a stock one. Thanks
I had the same break. I bought a rad tapered carrier. I am in the process of a rebuild so I haven't installed it. I was looking for one with an external zerk and I had good luck in the past with the tapered so I went that way.

For you guys having trouble, you can buy the wrenches for the axle nut from any dealer to make it easier. I just went to workshop tools and got a 24" crescent wrench, works great!!! Clean them real good when you put them back on and you shouldn't have near the trouble next time. My worst problem is turning it the wrong way half the time!!!
i also run a rad carrier. its great.

and for around 40 bux do yourself a favor and run an aftermarket locknut. it will be easy next time you need to take it off or on. they look good too.
I broke the swing arm bolt on mine this week.
