steering stabilizer

i bought a +1 burgard steering stem and when i went to reinstall my pep steering stabilizer to it the clamp on the stabilizer is to big so it wont stay tight around the stem..anyone have this problem?what should i do?thanks guys

same thing happened to me. I put some fiber reinforced hose around the stem and held it in place with some duct tape while mounting. The reinforced hose will not collapse or crush under mounting pressure. I have run a couple desert races and several practices with no issues. I did use blue loctite on the clamp bolts.
