Pulled my plug today when I was going in to swap to a stg 2 cam, plug looks a bit lean for my taste. The photo makes the plug look quite white when its more a grey with a purple-ish hue to the ceramic. I was reading in Dyno room and seen that a 170+ main jet might suit better. Thoughts anyone?

bit lean, but you need to cut away the metal and get to the ceramic to really see. called a plug chop

ideally you want it chocolate brown.

I'm planning on putting the plug back in... Don't have any extras laying around. Sounds like a bump in jetting is another need on the list. I'm thinking maybe 170 would be a safe bet since I'm swapping to a stage 2 and doing the green wire mod

how long you had the plug in there will affect it as well, longer more chance you get a better read

the cam and green wire mod will not affect the jetting

then id say your a bit lean there.

i highly suggest you go to a dyno. or be like me and get a welder to put a bung for an O2 sensor in there and have a buddy who has a gauge :)
