Rear sprocket hub spacer

It seems that honda doesn’t offer the spacer between the rear sprocket hub and carrier bearing. Does anyone have the dimension to the OEM one, or know who makes one.
It sits here on the inner hub.

I had to cut the rear axle to get this thing apart. The guy before me had just replaced the carrier… one of those deals it was bad every things was seized. The carrier welded itself to the axle pretty much. Here a pic. Didn't realize that spacer was on the other side. I would have cut the sprocket hub if I had known. It’s all scraped now and long gone!

I am a machinist by trade so if I can find one or at least have the width of oem one and a couple other dimensions I can make one up!

You have the diameter measurement. Spacer sits flush on flat inner ring on hub. (First pic) So you can go off of that. I would have to take everything off to put a tape on it. But after looking at mine, i can see that its the same diameter as that flat inner ring on hub.
I can measure the width (gap) and i have 3/8”
You should be able to make one. I have no idea where to get one.
Here is assembled carrier. The spacer, I think your referring to is part of carrier housing. I'll measure it, if needed.

there is no such thing as the sprocket hub spacer.

examine the axle you got, check the clearances from the sprocket hub from the old to new one. are they the same? is the axle new OEM or aftermarket? any noticeable differences?

check the carrier, it might be the wrong size or type. where did you get it from? all the billet aftermarket ones have holes, not slots. OEM is cast with slots and not shiny like the one you have

years ago I bought a rad brand carrier and had the same issue your having. the carrier was either incorrect part or not machined right. i bought a cheapo chinese one after i returned it, no further issues

So judging by the gold color of that axle, you got some cheap Chinese axle off of eBay or some thing. Some aftermarket axles will use a spacer, but generally that’s when they have a billet hub. Maybe the axle that you got uses a spacer and it wasn’t shipped with the axle or it was lost. Did you buy it new?

It must be part of the carrier like cjm says. At first glance it looks like a spacer. As you can see in pics. Pic is not great sorry, but it's the best angle i could find. But mine looks different than whats on both carriers in other pics. Its skinnier if anyone can see it.

I think mine is a spacer. Its not a stock axle, its an axcalibar. From what i can see its iether a spacer (if so its 3/8” thick by the same diameter as inner flat ring on hub) or its part of the carrier with the optical illusion of a spacer.

Damn my ride is dirty!! I need to clean it! But what do you guys think? Does it look like a spacer to you? If so then maybe he needs one too. His hub is definitely rubbing in pic. Like hoser said some aftermarket ones do have them.
Or cjm is correct and he bought the wrong axle if its not stock. 🤷🏻‍♂️
I guess I should word my response differently, they all have spacers, even OEM since that is where the axle seal rides on, but it is pressed on. Some of the cheap axles the spacer will come loose. And I think with Caltric the collar or spacers is part of the hub since on their axles the hub is steel, not aluminum like OEM. And the good aftermarket axles the collar is pressed on as well. I don't have an OEM axle that's not in a carrier here at the moment, but here is an LSR, you can see the collar and it is steel.

Hopefully milletime11 gives an update. Id like to know what axle he purchased and if it indeed is missing the pressed collar. Damn hoser what do you have a bunch of quality parts like that nice lsr axle on deck? Lol. That one is not cheap.

I got a deal ($80) on the two large Honda wrenches specifically for OEM axle install/disassembly. It took those, 2 breaker bars and 4ft cheater pipes, a little heat and A LOT of persuasion, but she finally busted loose. Press wont help getting it apart. milletime11 since you got fab skills I can send the Honda OEM tool measurements and you can cut them out of some 5/16" steel.
