Do the Razr 2's slide well around corners? I was lookin into these, but the tread looks so aggressive that it looks like they might just bite right in. And I heard that they are only good on hard packed dirt...is this true?

M3zy6 has the regular razr's and they bite into the ground pretty good. He uses them on all the sufaces and he doesnt seem to have a big problem with them. He has told me though that they do bite in the corners. If this helps great, if not oh well!!

I dont have any experience with the razr2's, but I love my razrs. I dont do a lot of
cross country so I dont really need a 6 ply tire. It really just depends on what
type of riding you plan on doing with them, and to a lesser extent, what kind of
money you can spend. If the money doesn't matter, and you mainly ride mx then
get the razr mxs, if you mainly ride fast trails get the razr2s, if you do both get
the razrs. Hope this helps. :)

Oh yea, your question, I dont usually have a problem with too much bite in the
corners, but I've got them on a 450, your 300ex might not spin them as well. They
aren't as easy to ride fast with compared to rounder tires simply because when
they do bite, they bite hard and fast so you have to be carefull not to go over.

I've had holeshot XCR's and now I have Razor 2's and they are awsome. You can slide or do anything else for that matter. I was in stonyford CA, last week and it was real muddy and those tires had no problem hooking up. In my opinion the razor 2's are the best tire I've rode on yet and I've been through a few tires. Mostly holeshots and stock tires. Maxxis are worth the money trust me.

I think the razors slide easier then the holeshots, but get better straight traction when needed...I think they are the better tire.....those damn holeshots dont slide worth a crap compared to the razors, and I have six stitches in my leg to prove it.....holeshots grabbed on me in the middle of a slide and I hit a tree....OUCH.

I have a set of the RAZR II's and they are awsome in corners. They do slide pretty well also. I race in sandy loam if that tells ya anything. As others were saying they bite really good in corners that are bermed up a little, or in ruts. But on flatter surfaces they will slide just fine.
