Question about the dasa exhaust??

16618 Views 30 Replies 23 Participants Last post by  Buddah
I have been reading about the different types of exhausts and the dasa seems to be #1. It seems that everbody rides in the dunes or is racing.
Most of my riding is trail riding. And I was just wondering if the dasa is right for me.

Thanks

by feel or the butt dyno u won't be able to feel any difference between most pipes, pick what ya like, if its the dasa, great, its a good pipe..

only a dyno or drag racing would u be able to see the better power or over rev that one pipe mkes over the other..
Sound may be an issue too for trail riding.

get something that you want. i have been told this before...its your bike do what you want with it, dont let others tell you what to do
if ya ride in forest areas and think u might be hasseled its something to consider, ud need adapters for a sparl arrestor or to be DB compliant

I was just wondering what a good exhaust pipe is? There are so many and i dont know what to choose. I am trying to get a good idea on what to buy and what not to.
I've always been an FMF fan but it seems like no one really puts them on the R? Anyone have any input on this one?

I like the sound and output of the new LRD pipes and for the price you can't beat a full system.
I love my dasa, it looks extremely cool, it sounds awesome, and it made great power. But it is loud I would pick between dasa, rossier, hmf, or sparks

honestly bro i wouldn't put anything on my quad that i can buy from the dealership. i have in the past and have always ended up seeling it to go another way. if you hold up a dasa and an fmf pipe you will see an extreme difference in design
FMF makes decent dirtbike exhausts IMO but there quad exhausts just plain do not hold together and do not make the power of there competitors.

dasa= :thumbsup:
dasa sucks....

to ride behind. they are loud.
i love it, no disprect to n e 1 but it seems like there is always this giant fued between dasa and others.... idk everyone seems to love there dasa pipe but by sounds of it if you trail ride it may not be the way to go..... i have been looking at the rossier pipe how loud is that gonna be compared to like the dasa pipe?
The Rossier is close to 105dbs and the DASA is close to 101dbs when doing the SAE J1287 stationary sound test.
i can here my friends dasa over my rossier when we are drag racing
What do you guys think of jardine?

Are they good quality... Sound?

I just trail ride too but sound isn't an issue where I am. I don't mind giving up a 1/2hp.

I wanted a dasa originaly but the jardine is 140$ cheaper.
