plastic maintanance

just got done with may first mud race and the plastic looks like crap. what is a good plastic polish and a good way to remove fine sctraches? also need a good cleaner for removing
light coat of dirt off the engine.

I've been using pledge on my plastics...... I find it does a decent job.
