[480 bandit]

I just got im my 480 BB cylinder, its just a stock one borred out. but I would like to paint it so it looks like I had some work done to my bike. I have some 1800 fereignheit paint from painting snowmobile pipes. will this work for it? Its just flat black and thats all I want. I was thinking of doing like 4-5 coats. any Ideas?"??

clean the surface really good. use hight temp paint.

spray in cotes, about 3-4. let each cote dry really good before moving on.
heat helps, hang out in the sun.

watch out for this problem. the paint might trap heat in and over heat the motor. i had this problem on a 250r.

not a problem on a 450 cylinder that is much bigger than a 250. waterjackets hold alot of coolant
