..I never been to silver lake but if your doing drags and its loose sand ...haulers for the win...literally
Haulers work great, i have had a set of Sand Stars and 2 sets of Haulers now, the Stars were better for cruising around but the Haulers are better for straight line racing. They race in low areas where the sand is wet so traction is not a problem. The only bizniggle about the Haulers i have now is they are 22" Triple buffs on 8s and they make the turning a little unpredictable.i was thinkin haulers[/b]
i was also thinkin of not bothering with paddles. its my first time going but i need to buy some other stuff first. like an axleHaulers work great, i have had a set of Sand Stars and 2 sets of Haulers now, the Stars were better for cruising around but the Haulers are better for straight line racing. You can always just run knobbies, they work good enough to have a good time you just have to carry momentum to get over top of the hills.
