that suks man, we had some water down here in La also. about 6 feet 5 min from my house and 10+ feet @ our camp.

i also forgot to say that my aunt and uncle have 2 houses that are right on the beach.. so lets hope for the best and only water got in.

That hurricane was crazy. I live all the way in kentucky and we had 40-50 mph winds off it yesterday. I was even out of power for a few hours, and there are still limbs laying everywhere in my town. I couldn't believe that it traveled that far and was still packing that much of a punch.

She was lucky no damage, my heart goes out to those who did.
Oh that sucks. I live in Ca so we didnt get any of it. Or at least I dont think so. I havent had time to watch any new about it. But hope you all are doing ok and are safe.
I cant imagine what you guys went through. Here in Tornado land, we have the same wind speeds as a hurricane but the path is only a mile wide at most and it only lasts for an hour or so. I cant imagine have something the width of the Texas Gulf Coast line hitting and for an entire day! Best of luck!
