my friend Donnie races flat drags all over around this area spring through summer and has several quads. this one is his fastest. he streached the blaster frame just under a foot, found a yzf 600 crotch rocket motor and installed 12:5to1 pistons and web cams and put it together. the redline on this thing is just a little over 14,000 rpms and it burns 110 octane race fuel.

ram air intake (4 air filters see them)

if you pull up next to this guy at the next drag race your at don't plan on winning because he usually wins just about any class he enters with any of his quads.

They don't really run against the clock around here, if you get beat twice your out. Lude, they keep the drag strips pretty smooth here so thats the reason for the stock shocks, plus he runs a wheelie bar. All I know is that its crazy fast. Hw also has a 250x (396cc), a 250r, and a 400ex and they're all fast. Yea, he has a lot of free time, he gets off work at 2 pm and stays in the garage till dinner. He runs alcohol or nitro methane in all his quads.

Imagine how the guy on the Banshee feels after he gets beat by someone on a Blaster!! Then, he sees the same guy that beat him on a Blaster with a 250x, and he gets crushed by that too

My daughter's boyfriend has a Raptor. When we had the engine out of it because the cam chain snapped, we dry fit a R1 engine I had laying around in the frame. It would take some work but it could be done. I think a FZ1 would be easy to do. I also have a TDM850 laying around as well. Now that would be interesting! Lots of torque.

I had seen pics of that Blaster a couple years ago I think it was, pretty neat! Ugly but, neat.

Yea, you might have seen them on here a while back, this is the only site that I remember posting these pics on. He built this thing last year and finished it up in April of 2004. She's definately not the prettiest quad out there!

You can ride wheelies on TDMs like they have a 3rd wheel balancing them!!! They are serious fun. I wouldn't even consider touching the bike. I'd take the engine out of it and put it in a quad frame w/o a second thought though. It'd be a perfect motor for that application, lots of torque, that great unique sound the engine makes, lots of rpm, and goodly supply of aftermarket parts available for it. I bet I even have a pipe that has the right shape.

My little brother has a Superhawk he's wanting to sell.

You should find a wrecked R6, it's considerably faster than a Superhawk.
