Haven't done much to it since I picked it up for $3k. It came with a full Dasa exhaust, K&N filter, jetted, Pro-armor nerfs, AC grab bar, Armadillo front bumper, and TAG XS bars. Here's some pics.

I have to replace the front lower motor mount bolt, so it's ordered. I also picked up some new Scott grips to get rid of the ugly, worn, orange TAG grips. I'm also talking to a guy about some stock width Hermann a-arms. I'm not so sure about them though since I'll have to replace the bushings in them. Will the bushings from my stockers fit them? Anyway here's the list I plan on doing....

in the next month or so - Hotcams Stg2 cam, matte black pc'd wheels, new Holeshot tires, stock width or +2" a-arms

over winter - Hot Rods +3mm stroker crank, JE 11.5:1 piston, matte black pc'd frame, candy red pc'd hubs/a-arms

next spring/summer - GT thunder shock conversions, Quadfast graphic kit

Sent money today for a HotCams stg2 cam. I will probably be buying some a-arms in the next few weeks.
If you are going to get a arms I suggest you go ahead and spend the money and do it once and get long travel.......I see way to many ppl buy standard travel and then sell them bc they want the lt.....but it looks good man nice buy
yea i agree with zachpoo, i first thought "i wont need longtravel, a good standard travel setup will be ust as good"

now as for it being jst as good its really hard to say, they both have there good points, but i did go LT lol and its less then a year before i switched to LT, matter of fact im waiting on front shocks right now

first i bought a GT thunder mx link, then JD'performance +2 a-arms ST, then some elka front ST shocks, then a custom axis rear shock, shortly after that
sold the axis shock and link, bought a elka ELITE long travel rear shock with the elka pro-dual link, and in the last 2 weeks ive sold my JD-performance arms and bought some +.5 LT arms and fox podium X front long travel shocks
i still have the front shocks which i hope are sold soon, but im getting nowhere near what i paid for everything back, so i wish i would have just bought ful long travel first

the way i see it is if you can find a good deal on a set of LT a-arms or LT shocks BUY THEM, then just keep them until you find a good deal on some a-arms or shocks to go with what you've already bought it might take more time, but in the long run you will save a TON of money and be happy

I'm going to go on as much of a budget as I can. I don't race or anything and can't justify the price of LT. Epecially with as many other projects as I have on my hands right now. Just a modest build that's better than stock without breaking the bank. Mostly wanting more power, but also enough suspension to handle it.

thats what i thought to, and you can never have enough suspension lol
you will love that stage 2!

I really hope so. Can't wait to get it in. Just need to order some shims so I can get it in as soon as I can.
Tracking code estimates the cam will be here on the 9th. I also ordered a Hotcams valve shim kit, so hopefully it will be in by then. Paid for a much needed Overwears pre-filter for my K&N and some shock covers too.
good luck with the build.. I am sure you will be happy
Thanks. I sure hope so. I think I've actually decided to try my hand at my own a-arms. My job is doing drafting work for a machine shop that makes assembly lines over the US. I'm also experienced in welding and machining, so we'll see how it goes.
double post
I'm building a set of a-arms myself right now. I'll let you know and see how they turned out in about a week.
Congrats on your new bike.
You guys I want to see some pics of what you come up with......0
Put my cam in today. It was late when I got done so I just took it up the road easy to make sure everything was working right. I didn't notice any gains, but hopefully I can give a better evaluation this weekend.
Went ahead and bought some +2" Burgard arms today. Figured for $200 it wasn't worth my time and materials to try to build some. The shop didn't have any ball joints and AutoZone/Napa/Advanced Auto didn't have any of the Volkswagen ones, so I couldn't get them installed. Been working on the jetting, but can't get it right.
Cut my box lid and put a 175 jet in today. It's a bit lean, but not stalling anymore. I'll adjust the fuel screw some and maybe have to put in the 180 jet.
I picked up the ball joints and one of them is the wrong one and none came with nuts, so I'll pick some nuts up at work and have to order the right one.

Finally another update. Finally got the right balljoint in today and got them all put on. I also relocated the ignition and oil temp light to under the hood. I'll have to get a better pic of that though. Sorry for the night pics.
