they are expensive i know that, and thats it lol
Their good and their sexy, but in the end I still prefere Cp cylinders. Id run one though.....
I have been running one on by desert race quad for over a year. Just running a 12.5:1 compression piston in it. I have close to 50 hours of desert racing on it and it has ran great. Next desert race is a month away, so I am going to be tearing it down to put a new piston in it and check for wear. Yes they are expensive, but I wanted something that would stand up to long races, and I figured this would be one of the strongest cylinders out there. When I haev the money, I will be buying one for my other quad.

No, I run the 498cc kit, 99mm bore.

I run with the MaxPower guys during the summer MX season and every spring in Little Sahara.

Their machines are putting out lots of power and look great. They are great guys to work with.
I put on one a guys bike and the sleeve cracked shortly after i think they have since updated there sleeves, nice but lots of $$$$$
nice cylinders, but they are a little pricey!
They did have a problem with the sleeve cracking on earlier ones and have since updated. They were good about taking it back though right?
Figured I would give a update after my tear down of my Ice Cube 498 kit. Quad had 50.7 hours of hard desert racing on it since I last had it apart. That was WAY to long to go. Cylinder was worn pretty bad, it will need to be replated. Croass hatching was gone and the sides are nice and smooth from the wear. The last time I had it apart I had to send it out to get replated also, as I sucked a bunch of dirt into it. If I remember right Max Power charged me right around $400 to do the work. They have to pull the sleeve in order to replate it. The thing still ran great, but I guess if I want to continue to run it on my race quad, I would say it will need new rings at a min every twenty hours or so.

Remember, this is a desert race quad, so it spends alot of its life at high rpm's, and it lives in the dustiest enviroments you can imagine.

I have the falicon 525 BB stroker kit, it uses the ice cube
I'm very happy with it
I did need to open up the case a little to get it to fit in correctly but it was slight
mainly cleaning up the casting marks
