That hood looks great, but is everyone doing it for weight or looks. In my opinion the head lights are awesome and I'm sure they don't weigh that much!

I don't care how the machine looks as much as I do the way it performs. we have a 96 yamaha waveventure and it is really ugly color schemes but speedin along the water at 62mph no one can tell they just say 'damn that kid is fast'

Haha, but seriously, don't it feel good to know you have one of the greatest quads EVER made in your own garage? And, you have the power to make it even nicer! (Unless you are broke like me!)

kid u got a hummer in ur garage that should be enought for you. lol but we kno u paid 4 it by urself. I want to do that too but don't have the guts to go talk to the bank. I gotta get the parents to go along with it too. and that woon't be happening anytime really really soon as I wish. anyone got any ideas on how to make it happin. I think that I will eventually open up a new topic that can help not only me but a few others prolly on here.

The best advice I can give you Pickles is show your parents you care!! I know that you must tell them all the time how much you want it, but that is not what I mean. Show them how much you want it by helping out around the house and outside in the yard. Get a job, work a little more, this will show them that you really do want this quad and that you understand the value of a dollar. I am not going to guarantee this will work, but I do know that it can not hurt! Good luck on getting your R, just be patient!! B)

Good for you Pickles, I'm glad to here it. I didn't believe in college and I stuggled for 10 years in the construction business and never went anywhere. I went back to college and got my degree in computers and know my live is so much better. I own a house a brand new truck and now a 450R.

I maybe getting a 450r in about two weeks my tip to you is ask for it alot so they get mad but help them like kid said it's working for me but if i don't get one with in the nexted month i will be getting one next march when i have almost all the money to buy it.

I have a couple grand put away but not enough. I hope that I can do like a birthday/christmas/birthday christmas thing and have that be it for a few years just getting like a little card or something because it birthday/christmas presents arent' that importand to me. maybe I could get the grandparents to go in on it too and we could do something like that but before we hijakk this dude's topic anymore I will make one specifically 4 it in the loungs but tel;l me some plains that I could work with I have another that I weill tell u bout later tho.
