Hi.
I am about to buy a new linkage for my trx450 but i was thinking what would happen if i turn the standard linkage around.
Has anyone ever tried it? i want to lower it at the rear but before i just buy a new linkage i want to try to put the standard one in backwards so that the short side is in the front and long one in the back. i saw a picture of the elka linkage that is similar to what i want to try.
this is just a thought i know its not designed to be that way.
hope someone can give me advise on this.

That is wrong in every which way. Not only would the suspension be destroyed, you would raise the height not lower it.

just FYI: i accidently did this on a 400ex years ago. it rode terrible.
