"stock" kfxi have an outty that i trail ride, its an automatic.... i have no trouble keeping up with my ozark cross country series buddys. they both took first in their classes, B-sport and the utility class. hmm lemme think, i am never in the wrong gear and have no problems shifting or getting stuck.....78mph on a 700lb machine doesnt seem grandpaish to me!!! btw....i would like to see 90% of these bikes on this forum line up with z-manns kfx.[/b]
Yeah, they are ugly, heavy (over 500 pounds) and gross with that stupid belt transmission. But, a friend of mine could get pretty crazy on his:I seen one for sale here locally and it made me think about it. There used to be one that ran around a local riding area and it was pretty badass from what i seen, but i don't ever hear anything about them anymore. They are a 700cc v-twin motor with an automatic trans, and it looked like they would climb anything. Anybody know why they aren't popular?[/b]
probably because the manufacturers went to using wet weightsI noticed on their website the KFX gained another 40 lbs from '08 to '09. The only one i've ever seen in action looked pretty cool, but it was just climbing hills then though.[/b]
