I got a 2007 trx450er with a hmf slip on when I bought it had a 195 main and 52 pilot with uni filter and air box Lid on it was running rich the pipes turned red idling so I put a 135 main and 48 pilot that’s what hmf was recommending and then my motor started to run really hot so I put a 165 main and 48 pilot in it and changed the spark plug it ran good for about a hour then I parked it and I started it back up the next day and it wouldn’t start unless I took the air box off then I rode it around for a minute and it started to run really hot it started popping and cracking again I’m at around 1000 ft elevation
