jetting help

so i have an 07450er and i had the jetting pretty good with just a chm system and a k&n filter. nothing internally done to my motor, and i put the esr intake on and took the airbox off n all that and its running like complete crap. i have an adj. fuel screw and i got the bog to go away when u blip the gas, but mid to wot is horribly, doesnt wanna even rev up...im betting its lean? the fuel screw adjust to 1/8 throttle, then a leak is 1/8 to 1/4, pilot is 1/4 to 3/4 and main is 3/4 to wot correct? im also running dyno jet kit. i dont recall what jets came with it tho....when i tear my carb apart is there a certain starting point i should goto? thanks guys.

i ride at 1300 or so elevation as well if that helps

whats ur main jet? and did u change it when u changed intakes? im guessing no?

u should be in the 162 range on the main
ok thats good to know...i did whatever that stupid dyno jet kit came with and didnt even pay attention honestly. my shop i was working for put it in for me, and thats what chm dynod there pipes with so it was killer till i changed intakes haha. what should i run for leak and pilot? or a close starting point? the way my bikes running right now everything seems WAY off haha...
im not familiar with the dyno jet kit
il probably pull it all apart tonight n see whats in it. i just wanted to see if anyone was running a similar setup or had any idea of where i should be close to. i just need a good starting point...thanks alot j

I have a 2005 with the ESR and Stage HC2 and I run a 190 main. I started with the dyno jet but then just went and bought some bigger mains. I think the kit come with up to a 180 main.
05 n 07s are different when it comes to jetting, thats why in the hrc kit the 05 comes with a 185 and with the 06up it comes with a 162, 2 totally different animals


pred, id go with a 162 main or something comparable in a dynojet, 48-50 pilot, needle middle clip, 2.5 turns out on screw and see what happens

^^^what he said....i had a dynojet on my '05 and i didn't like it too well......try their 180 first, it may be too small.......there is a comparison thread on here somewhere b/t dynojet, keihin, and mikuni somewheres...........but try ur jet kit first and do a plug check it may work out^^^

w/e the hrc kit came with???? idk for sure if they send one of those in the kit, but if they don't, i left mine stock and it works great!
I had an 06 with same mods I run the NCVQ needle in 3rd clip with 175 mj and all other factory set air screw on about 2 turns I believe.
