Alright I got 15 different Jetting set-ups for all different years.

I have them in order by year, so you can find your year and similar mods and hopefully get a better feel of where your jetting should be... I know some more of you gave me your info but without knowing some key components, I didn't want to use it.

Anyway if you want to add anymore info, just add it to the other thread in the lounge and I will update this post.

http://www.trx450r.org/forum/92-lounge/186162-lets-put-end-jetting-questions.html

This is not intended to give you the exact jetting for your machine but rather a good starting point and some assistance if you are completely lost.

Another good read on the topic and something you should definitely look over before doing any work on your carb is...

http://www.trx450r.org/forum/93-engine/175649-jetting-questions.html

Anyway... Here is the list that I got... and if any of this helps you out, remember to thank the guys listed above each machine for sharing their info

Got a couple questions. I have an 05 with hrc lid, stock filter, mxp full exhaust, 192 main, 52 pilot, screw 2.25 out. 13:1 wiseco but at idle, my header turns welders red. just the first 90*, but revving in neutral no backfire, but when i let off the throttle when im going down the road, it pops. not really loud, just a little. header only gets a little red when im riding, which is normal. but it shouldnt at idle. Do i need to go up to a 54 pilot, or mess with the screw? Oh and i heard i cant go off the plug very well since its water cooled.

Looking for help with a dead spot just past idle to 1/16th throttle on a "new-to-me" bike. If you want to just idle along giving just ever so little gas, it'll die. Get past that, or just past 1/16th throttle and its fine. Leak jet? Carb jets cleaned and valves freshly adjusted. If this isn't the right thread, please point me in the right direction. Tks.

2006
FMF Titanium Slip-on
UNI, HRC lid.
No green wire mod yet.

165 main
48 short pilot
Leak - Stock
1-7/8 turns out on the pilot screw.

The rest is stock.

This thread was never intended for people to ask questions in, but as a reference to look for a build similar to yours and give you a starting point with jetting... but since you asked, I will give it a go...

Stock pipe with a big bore?... kinda pissing on the wheels of progress there.
Airbox lid still on and complete with snorkel?
Stock cam?

If so, I would go with a 50 pilot, 125 main, and 2 turns out on your fuel screw, if you don't have an Airbox lid... then go with post above.

So I'm trying to get my carb situation figured out, I have been messing with it the last few days with a bunch of trial and error. quad is an 08 450r stg 2 hotcams, K&N w/ lid on and header back exhaust. I just installed a 165 main and a 48 included ( I think it's the pilot jet ) from the HMF jet kit. And I turned my air fuel screw out 1 1/2 turns. It a still a little hard to start and cuts out under 1/4 throttle. Anybody have Any suggestestion I want to ride this beast asap Thanks a bunch
