with the right porting +1 valves will help but not alot. I run stock intakes with +1 ex on my stock bore motors and when i get 500cc+is when i go to big valves

I am getting my head freshened up and was wondering if i should get plus one valves or not. Also what valves are everyone running? I had kibble white intakes and stock exhaust. Valve seats prolly need recut so wondering if i should just throw plus ones all the way around. Can see mods in sig but basically 480 14:1 stock 04 carb. Thanks

i run +1 kibble white s.s on both intake and ex.works great with a big cam like the sparks.but you'll need bigger seats if you want to do it right

if you go with +1 you really need to port, but you will loose a little bottom end torque. but if you race gncc and hare scrambles, i wouldn't do it just for that reason.
drag race yes but you will loose bottom end ... port it will be worth more to you than bigger valves .. just my 2 cents
if you did do it you would not have to have bigger seats!
its already ported. Gonna try the plus one all the way around and get the seats worked on.
Think about just going with +1mm Exhaust....and leave the intakes alone....
