I’m in the market for an IMC sub harness for the HRC Power Up Kit

Somebody correct me if I’m wrong but isn’t that the same as doing the green wire mod.

I believe so, mopappy if you have an 06+ you can disconnect or cut the green wire, its the same as the hrc harness. And its free.I disconnected mine incase i wanted to plug it back in. Refer to pic. Good luck on finding an hrc power up kit. They’re not easy to find. I was able to buy the cam (used) plus green wire mod. Love it.

oh if you do cut and or disconnect tape the ends.

I forgot to mention,Dont cut it if you’re quad is stock. It only works with a cam, filter, exhaust. Like the hrc kit.

Actually it will work just fine with the Green Wire (Cut or Disconnected) on a bone stock bike... However it will just be little gains is all but still noticable differnce.

Just remove the Green Wire and get a Stage 1 or 2 hot cam, a cheap full exhaust system like a HMF, sand a little more of a Taper on the Slide Needle, go up 5 points or so on the Mian Jet. Might take a little gettingiti tuned it just right on the jetting however if you're just wanting a good noticeable amount of power but nothing crazy what i suggested may work out just fine for you.

really?, everything ive read says its useless to do green wire mod on stock, because the HP drops off before you reach that extra 1k rpm. And it takes away from the bottom end as well.
im sure it works with stock (gain extra 1k rpm,s) and change timing curve. But without the supporting mods it’s counterproductive. So I wouldn’t recommend doing it on a stock quad is how i shouldve worded it. Not that it wont work. I should have been more specific.
i would highly recommend getting the exhaust and cam as Ryan94wright recommended, with cutting the green wire.
