Anyone know how to check idle speed on a one/two cylinder engine? The meters I've seen only work for 4/6/8 cylinders.

Thanks!

I'm not sure. I do mine by just listening to how it sounds, and I sometimes set it a little higher for tight tracks or woods to keep from stalling. the actual numbers are more the less a guideline.

That's what I've always done, too. Do you know if I need to get the idle set to spec before I can check the timing?
