I remember reading about these back in the 08 time frame. One of the mags did a test and if I recall, they said the power was pretty good, but the handling was scary as all get out. So tonight I was cruising CL tonight and came across this. Man, when you look close, there seems to be a whole lot of "cheapness" there. Just thought I'd share....lol

if i can remember correctly dirtwheels did an article on this.. i think it was a spin off of the people who made cannondale i think..? not really sure but it will be hard for any chinese to ever make a hit in the sport atv market with how the japanese companies are just thriving.

I remember that artical but it wasn't this china bike... I'd have to find the magazine to remember what that company was. It was all top end custom stuff and was supposed to be an actual race bike right out of the factory. It didn't take off because most of the big wigs died in a plane crash if I remember correct...

I'd be scared of these hyosung bikes, lol..

I've seen one of these at a dealer before. I sat on it and everything.. it looked and felt CHEAP lol. It seemed like a joke, the stock graphics were peeling off from just sitting. It felt very uncomfortable and looked kinda homemade IMO

Yeah. Just looking at the pictures, I see small diameter tubing on the frame at the front motor mounts and it looks cheap where the swingarm bolt goes through. But hey, I dig the reflectors..lol It looks like the ******* child of a trx and a z400.

You're Thinking Of Highland... They We're Going To Be Mid To High 50HP With Elkas All The Way Around Stock Built In Oklahoma, But The Top 3 In The Company Passed Away In A Plane Crash And Nobody Ever Picked It Back Up.

You guys remember the ATV Offroad Fury games? Reminds me of one of those wheelers lol

Def not be a quad, but one of our guys Had one of the Hyosung 650 motorcycles and had nothing but problems with it. One of those "dealer had it more that he did" situations. Dealer finally ended up taking it back and he got a used CB599.

i remember reading about those highland 450s. they were going to be tailor made and custom ordered i believe. but i read it in dirtwheels so you never really know. i think they had like a 90hp v twin model too? lol

Yeah those W-Tec's are sweet! I don't like a few things on them though. Like how little protection there is in front of the stem section of the frame. Just a bumper. And also how the subframe isn't removable. The nerfs look sketchy and too small. But it's just little things! Nice quads though by the looks of it!

those W tecs look weird. seems like it would handle funky.

I remember hearing about the top 3 from highland dying in a plane crash in 2009. I always figured somebody would buy it and get it going but it appears to be dust in the wind. Its a shame too because I really liked what highland had planned. those guys seemed to be true ATV enthusiasts and not just like most companies that are only out to make money.
