Gonna be next to impossible to find. Would be much easier to just do a good, high quality full exhaust, Hot Cams stage 2 cam, and then jet it properly for the mods. Oh, and snip the green wire.

Well, they haven’t been making the quad for almost 10 years, and the HRC kit was very popular, so it stands to reason that they are impossible to find. There’s one on eBay right now, but it’s for an ‘06 so you’d have to swap to the older (better) style cam tower to be able to use the 06 cam, otherwise it’s all the same.

Yes, only difference is the cam which can’t be used on an ‘08+ machine with the stock cam tower.

I have a buddy with a 06 450er and he wants a HRC kit. I looked and couldn’t find it on eBay. Could you post the link if you don’t mind.

it aint really worth the cost. stage 2 hot cam, toss the airbox lid, cut the green wire and buy some jets.

I just checked and it sold today at 3:43 pm. But like @CJM said, it’s not really worth it, that kit was $600 plus shipping.

Thanks for checking. I was telling my buddy that he should get a stage 2 hot cam along with a exhaust but he seemed pretty set on it. Maybe I’ll upgrade to a stage 3 hotcam and a dasa exhaust and sell him my HRC cam and header.
