I'm about to replace mine....I'm going to go figure it out...I know to put them back in you put the new bearings in the freezer for a bit, they slide right in
lol ya i heard that, i just dont want to hit them to hard...
You have to hit the bearings from the inside out. Take a punch and put it on the inside of the bearing and pound it out.
A hydraulic press works best if you actually want them to be reusable...but they are cheap enough that I would just replace them. I prefer the heat and freeze method to replace them (from quads to cars) as pressing them in stretches the steel out a little.
I took them out with a punch and they where perfect when I took them out...

Nothing will happen to them... from the inside out... just work your way around...
Mine appeared to be fine to after i took them out but i went ahead and replaced them while i was at it....
Having problems with this today. I'm going to try a punch.
You can probably go get replacements at the closest bearing store rather than pay for overpriced honda packaged bearings or all balls like i have been doing..

So in that case.. heat em and beat em. I like using old sockets that are the diameter of the inside race for an even hit.
I'm about to give up and take my hubs to a machine shop
Shop quoted me at $32.50 to remove old bearings and press new ones in. Thats worth it considering the problems I'm having here
