will this lower the rear?

I used a lowing link to lower the quad. I mainly used it to reposition the pivot point of the shock.

how much like an inch or two?

The MX link lowers like 2.xx inches so i think the XC link will lower about 1.5 inches.

The bike feels sooo much more stable lower like that and it works wonders for the shock. I have just the link and i LOVE it.
