Yamaha doesn't have any kind of factory support this year. As far as the went was to give jones, bill ballance and I believe kory ellis each a free yfz 450. Beyond that nothing.

Ballance and Jones are factory supported riders, not factory sponsered. a load of horse poop if you ask me, thats a cheap way to get a guy to sell your quad. Yamaha should be ashamed for that move. I guess they give them the quads and any GYTR merchandise they want - Gee Thanks, by the way, I won the Pro Class last year, want to take a little better care of me so I don't take my skills elsewere. I expect to see jones on a new bike next year if Yamaha doesn't give him something good. I understand Suzuki has made him an offer but he said it wasn't enough $$. Suzuki must me spending big money cus Carmichael is heading over there too. I bet Balance is on a Honda by the end of the year just to prove he can win on anything.

In the April ATV Sport the asked media representives of the major companies different questions. One question asked to Steve Nessl of yamaha.

ATV Sport: what is your current involvement in atv racing?

Yamaha/Nessl: there will be no factory effort this year, but involvement in 2005 is a possibility. The race scene and technology is evolving. We released the highest performance ATV and its the biggest thing to hit the community in a while. Where waiting to see what happens with that. What ever we do, it has to be mutually beneficial to everyone.

They better step up before the best racers are all taken.

threw the grape vine bill balance has a new TRX and is testing the arfx and custom axis suspension and i heard santo dersi got his axis shocks for his trx and said the front end felt as good as his roll and that was with stock a arms

I have never seen anyone hot Loroccos Leep on a quad, just heard 2 guys have. Not sur ehow far it is either, buy the looks of it it's got to be about a mile and a half.
