Why is there gas coming out the overflow hose in my 2004 Honda 450r it did it on the old carburetor so I got a new one and it’s doing the same thing and when it starts to leak it won’t stop till there’s no more gas in the tank why is it doing this? It shouldn’t be the float sticking because it’s brand new

Sounds like it would be the float sticking. Did you get a Chinese carb or an oem carb?

I think it’s a Chinese

It could be the fact that the new carb is Chinese because those carbs almost never work right.

Get an OEM carb.

I have a carb that’s not Chinese getting rebuilt right now so I’ll get that one put back on that’s for the help man
