was just wondering if anyone had talked to mickey at four stroke tech to se what he was offerin as far cams and kits and parts for the new R. i been trying to get a hold of him but his phone hours are weird

I've heard Mickey say on another site that he has a 500 kit for the 450r, I don't know much about it but he has one.

well i finally got to talk to him the other day and yes he does have a big bore kit available 500cc/12-1 comp. he also has his cam speced (he said more mid to high range) but not through R&D yet. he said give him another month or so and he will have some power numbers and jetting and all the details for his stuff. they are also testing a new auto clutch to help eliminate any stalling after your on the move. i think his kit will be sweet. big bore is only like 250 but i think i was less than that

correct me if im wrong but isn't the search option for finding what you want....well i was looking for 500kits and this was one that came up.

500cc bore kits for the stock cylinders are limited to 12:1 compression because the remeining cylinder wall thickness wont handle higher pressure than the 12:1 generates....

stock bore with 14:1 will perform in the same category as 500cc @12:1

you can go as high as 14:1 with a 480cc kit without any problems

but, if you want 500cc big bore AND high compression, you will need an aftermarket cylinder
