Finally after 2 months of f**k'in around with this bike, I took the 450 for a ride. I took it easy on it today, nothing too crazy, just getting know the bike. I had so much fun today I am going to do it again tomorrow.
I also got to do a little side by side comparison with my Raptor 700. It is a really fun machine that likes it when you ride angry but doesn't mind cruising either. I think the biggest difference between these two is the weight It was the first thing I noticed.

Glad you were able to get some seat time on it! Quads look great, but of course the 450 looks better lol. Yeah the Raptors are definitely heavier. Looks like you got some decent weather to ride in. What type of riding was it, track, trails? Get the 450 in the air and that’s where it will really shine.

Yesterday I was mainly trail ridding on old dredge tailings (the whole park is an old dredge field) and the lighter weight made it a little rougher and more fatiguing than the Raptor. The upside is the ability to pitch the bike sideways with a quick stab of the throttle even with 22s. That is crazy fun.
I went back today with my daughter and her boyfriend but today, but I decided to ride the mx track most of the day. All I can say is wow! You can toss that thing around, in the air, so much easier. I was smoke'in fast on that track today. The weight allows you to ride faster and longer. I belong to FB group that rents out a "real" mx track in Marysville to members for like $40 for the day. I think I might have do one of the group track days because I had a lot of fun ridding the track today. I mean I am still smiling as I write this like 2 hours later.
