Nice bike, I have that same pipe and was wondering how much taking the airbox lid off changed the power output. the reason i ask is because im thinking about taking mine off but will have to rejet so if its not that much of a difference wont do it. thanks.
Nice bike, I have that same pipe and was wondering if you noticed any difference in taking off the airbox lid?[/b]
Cant tell you the difference between lid and no lid, sparks recommended jetting was for no lid so thats how i started and it was a huge power difference over stock, I love the power and sound. A friend of mine put in cherry bomb with baffle out on his ltr without taking lid off and he said it has alot more power with lid off if that helps.
Thanks im gonna do it but didnt want to if it wasnt really worth it. but more air is more power so it makes sense.
nice lookin R. are those paddles for ice/snow? i have seen them on a couple quads on the org... just woundering

Yah there for sand/snow but would suck in soft sand snow, there called Pro Wedge II's, I used them in the dirt around here and they hookup amazingly. A friend of mine used them in some soft sand and said they dont launch for [email protected]$%, haulers onyl way to go we only use em for the dirt around here because regular mx tires dont hookup at all.
They are great for dirt/hard sand drags. ANd ATV pulls!!

Not before the 470, port, carb and piston. :_specialED:
With a +4 all I would so is spin with prowedges. All I did was put on a lowering kit and was good. It might come up every now and then but I just hold it till it gets about 2.5 feet off the ground and shift out. Some of my fastest runs my front tires never touched the ground.

I run between 3 to 5 lbs on my r depending on conditions, and about 5 to 7 on my 660 and they hook pretty good.
Too much air and just the middle of tire touchs and too little and the blades fold over.

I suggest start with a lot of pressure and work your way down till you find your sweet spot.
