fcr slide chatter....

my carb chatters aswell, when it was off u could see how loose it was but I just rolled with it anyways, id like to know aswell what can be done to fix them, maybe some R&R...Morgan just done my bros carb and its flawless, very tight n sound...im sure he knows what can be done

check, the allen head bolt in on th top of the slide it may have turned loose, my yamaha did this before

The FCR slide rolls on 4 little wheels, 1 wheel is replaceable. Sounds like you need to replace yours.
You can contact Sudco they sell them for aroung 2.50 each.

will i be able to see the wheels if i take a look at the allen bolt???

chad............ take the top off the carb and the whole assembly will pull out. been a while for me as well. but if i remember correct...... the wheel that can be replaced just falls off. it just sits on a stud. the plastic wheel is probably worn.

the whole assembly is pretty simple to take apart. i was surprised at its simplicity.
