Yes you will need to re jet the carb. Dasa should be able to recommend a good starting point for your application. Depending on what year it is you will need to replace the main jet, and pilot jet.

thanks for the offer i will let you know when i get something back from DASA how can i check my exhaust gasket because i did see a little flame coming out of the pipejust once though am i harming the bike by just putting a pipe on it but nothing else?If you need a jet sent to you let me know. What year 450 & what pipe make sure you include that if you contact dasa for correct jets along with elevation & avg tempature. I can throw one in the mail to you to get you close.

If you have some numbered bits you can drill out the stock jet to get you by.
Adjust the a/f screw to give it a bit more fuel

I would not make any more changes intake mods till you get some bigger jets.
Good point a leaky exhaust oring, gasket can cause that but usually includes some flames.[/b]
